NH State Championship – 2020-2029

  1. 2020 Merrick Weinstein and Jim Felch. Second: Ron Mak and Geoff Phipps. Third: Lawrence Cheetham and Allen Pattee. 38 pairs entered and 14 pairs qualified for Sunday’s final round. Flight “B” Award went to Gerry Therrien and Phyllis Benoit. Flight “C” Award went to CJ Herman and Duane Cowall. The event was held on BBO due to the ongoing worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. Dave Metcalf was the director and also provided on-line support for recording results.
  2. 2021 Ron Mak and Geoff Phipps. Second: Wayne Burt and Arthur Giovannangeli. Third: David Lawrence and Paul Marquis. For the second straight year the event was held on BBO due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 26 pairs entered and 14 pairs qualified for Sunday’s final round. Flight “B” Award went to David Lawrence and Paul Marquis. Flight “C” Award went to Ray Carle and George Biron. David Metcalf was the director and again, like last year, was very helpful providing on-line support for recording results.
  3. 2022 Wayne Burt and Vincent Messina. Second: Skip Page and Carl Wikstrom. Third: Ron Mak and Geoff Phipps. Once again, the event was held on BBO due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 26 pairs entered and 14 pairs qualified for Sunday’s final round. Flight “B” Award went to James DeRuosi and Kathleen Larnard. Flight “C” Award went to John Lampron and Sue Ouellet. David Metcalf was the director and again, like last year, was very helpful providing on-line support for recording results.
  4. 2023 Wayne Burt and Larry Mann. Second: Sarah Widhu and Marshall Thomas. Third: Lawrence Cheetham and Allen Pattee. This year, we returned to Face-to-Face play. The event was held at the Puritan Backroom Conference Center in Manchester. 22 pairs entered and 10 pairs qualified for Sunday’s final round. Flight “B” Award went to Tom Foerster and Judi Zucker. Flight “C” Award went to Michael (Dusty) Tompkins and Lynn Grainger. David Metcalf directed.
  5. 2024 Sarah Widhu and Dan McGuire. Second: Carl Vancelette and Vincent Messina. Third: Tom Foerster and Peter Matthews. The event was held for the first time at the Alpine Club in Manchester. 28 pairs entered and 10 pairs qualified for Sunday’s final round. Flight “B” Award went to Larr Cheetham and Allen Pattee. Flight “C” Award went to Ron Allen and Mike Foley. David Metcalf directed.
