Third: Connie Fields and Marlene Jones. 33 pairs entered on Saturday and 14 pairs qualified for a 13 round, 26 board Howell in the Sunday Final. The event was held at The Chateau in Manchester on May 15 th and 16th with Kevin Griffin directing. Electronic scoring devices were used for the first time. The Consolation was won by Walter Fenton and Bernice Kramer. Five-time world champion Karen McCallum was present at the special invitation of the Unit and she spoke eloquently and insightfully about the hands both after the first session Saturday and after the Final session on Sunday.

Third: Thomas Ferguson and Craig Heim. 35 pairs entered on Saturday and 14 pairs qualified for a 13 round, 26 board Howell in the Sunday Final. 82. 2017 Dan McGuire and Wayne Burt. Second: Craig Heim and Mark Conner. Third: Barry Rogoff and Robert Eachus. 14 pairs qualified for a 13 round, 26 board Howell in the Sunday Final. The event was held June 3rd and 4th at Rivier University in Nashua with Peter Matthews directing. Open Pairs: Dorota Jarosz and Krzysztof Jarosz.

83. 2018 winners: Carl Vancelette and Stephen Bean won a closely contested event. Second: Lawrence Cheetham and Allen Pattee. Third: Robert Eachus and Kurt Schneider. 32 pairs entered and 14 pairs qualified for the final round. The event was held July 14th and 15th @ The Puritan Back Room in Manchester with Peter Matthews directing.

84. 2019 winners: Wayne Burt and Dan McGuire. Second: Lawrence Cheetham and Allen Pattee. Third: Ron Mak and Geoff Phipps. 26 pairs entered and 14 pairs qualified for the final round. The event was held July 13th and 14th @ The Puritan Back Room in Manchester with Peter Matthews directing. 

 

85. 2020 winners: Merrick Weinstein and Jim Felch. Second: Ron Mak and Geoff Phipps. Third: Lawrence Cheetham and Allen Pattee. 38 pairs entered and 14 pairs qualified for Sunday's final round. Flight "B" Award went to Gerry Therrien and Phyllis Benoit. Flight "C" Award went to CJ Herman and Duane Cowall. The event was held on BBO due to the ongoing worldwide covid-19 pandemic. Dave Metcalf was  the director and also provided oon-line support for recording results.
